The great thing about Ibis hotels is you know what you’re going to get. It will be reasonably priced for the area, clean, functional with breakfast included and will generally have car parking facilities.
If you’re headed to Malaga on holiday then you have two Ibis hotels to choose from, one in the city centre and the other located by the airport. We stayed at the Ibis in the city centre. It was perfectly located to all the main attractions, had great views of the Alcazaba. The staff were extremely helpful and offered good advice on things to see and do.
When driving around Malaga, you’ll notice that the Ibis hotel is well sign posted and easy to get to, there’s underground car parking, which was very convenient.
Staff: The hotel staff were very helpful, free wifi was available and a guest computer was provided in the reception.
Room: The room was standard with Ibis furniture (flat screen, ensuite) layout. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable (very hard but we found nearly all hotels in Spain were like that) but adequate. Extra blankets and pillows were available and the views were amazing.
Location: In the city centre, ideal location and clearly sign posted.
Breakfast: Breakfast was nice, a standard European continental breakfast including croissants, cereal, toast & tea & coffee etc.
Rating: 4 out of 5
